Hornet Ace Docs 1.0
This is a little hack a wrote one afternoon. It modifies your pilot
file in order to:
1. Reduce the number of lost aircraft to zero (they should just be
thankful you made it back alive!)
2. Restore court martialled, dead, MIA, or retired pilots (is it
really your fault if your wingmate happened to be in the way?)
It should allow you to fly all 27 missions in one pilot file, so that
you can finally fill the awards box completely.
To use Hornet Ace, just double click on it. Clicking the "Ace Me"
button will prompt you for a pilot file. Select the pilot file you
wish to change.
It is recommended that you only use Hornet Ace on copies of your
pilot file, just to be safe. I've never corrupted a pilot file myself,
but you can't be too careful. It is also recommended that you do
not use Hornet Ace on pilot files that are in Hornet 1.x format, as
I am uncertain as to whether it will work or not.
I am aware that the interface leaves a lot to be desired, but right
now I'm really too busy to augment Hornet Ace. However, if you have
any comments or suggestions or bug reports, please let me know.
Hornet Ace is public domain software.
